The London Experience
Two days in London for the lower juniors (years 3 and 4) from all three schools. This was a great experience with a visit to the British Museum, the Rainforest Café for dinner, full of animatronics, and a trip to the Lyceum Theatre for a performance of The Lion King in the evening.
The children thought that experience couldn’t be bettered but they were in for a treat the following day with a tour around London, a visit to Buckingham Palace for a photo call outside the gates and a ride on the London Eye. Despite poor visibility due to the rain they were still able to experience the thrill of travelling to a great height, to see the major landmark buildings close by and to view the people below as if they were ants.
The accommodation, provided by The Premier Travel Inn, was excellent and the children enjoyed the benefit of adult rooms complete with en suite and TV! Some of them didn’t want it to end!
