Woody Bay Gala

The pupils were invited to run a stall at the Spring Steam Gala at Woody Bay Station and jumped at the chance to sell plants, handmade soap, mosiac pot stands and a fine selection of homemade sweets and chocolates. As well as raising money for the gardening club, the Art & Craft Club and the Friends they took full advantage of the opportunity to ride the steam trains, watch Punch & Judy and get their faces painted.

They had such a good time that they are planning to go back again for the Autumn Gala in September.
