Lynton Celebrations

Well done to Skye, Madison, Jack, and Harriet for receiving our Celebration certificates this week.
Year 6 finished the week off with a continental breakfast to celebrate no-SATs week. This was a celebration of all their hard work regardless of the tests, they have continued to excel themselves since returning to school on March 8th.
Streams and Raindrops have been busy learning the action story of a sunflower ready to write next week. As part of their wider curriculum learning, they have been planting sunflowers and making terrariums.
In Oceans have been continuing with the slow process of covering out wire sculptures in paper mache' ready to paint next week. In English, we have been re-writing the second chapter from Kensuke's Kindom. Check out Skye's beautiful presentation and descriptive writing. Josh drew a wonder diagram of a boat as part of our vocabulary development for Kensuke's Kingdom. In topic, the children have been learning about the dangers to the ocean and creating posters.
